Walt Disney Studios is officially buying 21st Century Fox’s film and TV assets for an approximate $52.4 billion in stock, giving Disney a massive share of the entire film industry. Considering that two major film studios haven’t merged in decades, the question on everyone’s lips is how does this deal shift the filmmaking industry’s landscape?
The geography of the latest cinema technologies is quite extensive, but the "heart" and originating point of all new cinema-related products is Seoul, South Korea. These claims were discovered and proven during recent visit by Kinoprokat Company’s delegation to Seoul. Digital Cinema Initiatives, (DCI) was created in March 2002, and is a joint venture of Hollywood’s leading film studios such as Disney, Fox, Paramount, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal and Warner Bros Studios. After DCI’s inception, most of the cinema equipment, including film projectors need mandatory certification of compliance with DCI standards.
