BARCO can’t stop impressing publicity with its new developments. This article introduces laser phosphor projectors DP2K-15CLP and DP2K-20CLP, which go ahead of modern technologies being both efficient and cost-effective. Belgian engineers used unique techniques which allow laser phosphor module and insert it into already-working BARCO projectors.

We have chosen the strongest sides of the laser phosphor projectors and want to share them with you:

• Incredible image quality and stability according to the highest DCI (better uniformity and higher contrast);
• Easy maintenance (which can help you to save money due to laser phosphor light source with much longer lifetime and absence of lamp-related expenses);
• Thanks to its unique cooling system, the projector boasts a 30,000-hour constant brightness at typical usage conditions. And its optical efficiency is also significantly higher − resulting in savings of up to 50% on your electricity bill;
• If you already own a Barco DP2K-15C or DP2K-20C projector you can now replace your current lamp house with the unique laser phosphor retrofit module through an easy on-site upgrade.

DP2K-15CLP and DP2K-20CLP projectors are the first of laser phosphor series, later on 2K and 4K models could be upgraded.

B series laser phosphor projectors will be unveiled by the end of this year and S series is expected to appear in 2017.
